  The pottery was lovely, along with the pieces and the great museum. However, it seemed as though the staff let the place down. The staff members in the cafe staff didn't say "please" or "thank you" once and then proceeded to bellow our names rather than bringing it to us (the cafe was virtually empty at the time).
  
  Upon wishing to purchase 2 dinnerware sets we were then told by the lady at the register to get it ourselves (quite a difficult load to manage). The lady then seemed rather put out at having to wrap our sets in newspaper and was loathe to give us a box! She seemed quite unable to fathom us buying so much and did not know how to handle it. Basic manners (such as offering to help us collect our items) would have erased all negative experiences of the place.
  
  But a lovely pottery, we have and will continue to purchase Bendigo Pottery pieces for many years.

  Lovely historical area with some great local artwork on display and for sale. Did a self guided tour of the factory which was quite interesting. A quite nice cafe there too.
